Popular author Steve Cole to visit St Francis

Back in the summer term a number of children from St Francis entered a competition run by Random House Publishing to celebrate the publication of popular author Steve Cole’s 20th book. They were looking for the country’s biggest ‘Astrosaurs’ fans and the children were asked to design their own Astrosaurs character.

The prize for the winning 20 superfans included a visit to their school from Steve Cole.

We are delighted to tell you that one of our pupils was amongst the winning 20 superfans with her ‘Munchasaurus’, and Steve Cole will be visiting St Francis on 19th October 2011 at 1.15pm.

Steve is a very popular author in school with children especially enjoying his Astrosaurs and Cows In Action books.

At the end of the performance pupils will be able to purchase one of Steve’s books and have it signed by him. Most of his books are priced at £4.99 and another letter will follow with further details.
